If you’re here, you most likely won something in one of our tournaments and are wondering what’s next. If so, then read on…

Before receiving the prize there are a couple of things you’ll need to do to have your account verified – we like to call this ”the Winner’s Journey”.




Take a deep breath, congratulate yourself for your victory. Accept our congratulations too, while you’re at it. You deserve it!




Check your account details for any errors or missing information. If your account details have any inconsistencies, the verification process might take a lot longer that it normally would.

Pay extra attention to your payment details – the IBAN number is especially easy to get wrong.




While we’re on the subject of payment details, socialtournaments.com currently offers 3 methods for receiving your prize: Skrill account, Neteller account or a bank wire.

Prizes are sent out at the same time for each of the three payment options, so the choice comes down to a matter of personal preferences.




We can’t just send out prizes without getting to know each-other. The validation process is our chance to get to know you. 

Send them an e-mail at kyc[at]socialtournaments.com with the documents they need to validate your account and they will take care of the rest. They’re nice people. They’ll help you out.


What documents do you need? Glad you asked.


ID Validation

The first piece of information that needs to be verified is your ID. You can do this by sending a picture or scan of any form of official ID, such as:  

  • National ID
  • Passport
  • Driver’s License

We use this to verify that you are over 18 years old – if we didn’t, we would be breaking the law.

Please make sure that the form of ID you send has your full name and date of birth clearly visible, as that is what we’re looking at.


Address Validation

The second document we ask for is proof of your address. We have to make sure that you are not a resident of one of the countries where our service is not available. A recent bill works just fine, as long as it satisfies two criteria:

  • It is addressed to you at your current address.
  • Has been issued less than 90 days ago.

Most users like to send a recent bill, either paperback or electronic. As long as it comes from an official source, is newer than 90 days and has your name and address on it, it should be fine.

Utility bills, bank statements, government mail or a paper from the local resident registry are all things we can work with.


Payment method validation

Last but not least, we need to validate your payment method. We do this to make sure that prizes are sent to the correct account. The document we need depends on the payment method you selected on your socialtournaments.com account.


Skrill is an e-wallet that is free and easy to use, with a focus on cheap international transfers. Anyone can get a Skrill wallet – all you need is an e-mail address. If you don’t already have a Skrill account, you can head on over to www.skrill.com to register for one. The entire process takes only a couple of minutes.

If you are a Skrill user, all we need is a screenshot of your Skrill account – your name and e-mail address associated with your e-wallet need to be clearly visible. If you need any help, check out the screenshots bellow:





Neteller is an e-money transfer service that anyone can use, as long as they have an e-mail. The sign-up process is quick, free and painless so if you’re thinking about joining the Neteller community just visit www.neteller.com and register – we promise it only takes about two minutes.

Once you have a Neteller account, we’re going to need a screenshot of your account with your name and e-wallet e-mail address. Both need to be clearly visible. If you’re not sure about what to screenshot, check out the images bellow for help.




The validation process for users who prefer a bank transfer is as easy as the previous two options.

If you use online banking, just send us a screenshot of your online bank account. Your name, IBAN and BIC/SWIFT need to be clearly visible.

If you don’t use online banking, you should ask your bank for help – bank statements sometimes have the required info, but there are thousands of banks all over the world so it will vary. The best course of action would be to speak to a bank clerk about what you need and ask for advice.

Please don’t send us pictures of your credit/debit cards! They won’t work for validation.


Once you’ve e-mailed these 3 documents to KYC, it usually takes up to 48 business hours for the validation to be complete. If something is missing, or one of the documents cannot be used, they will contact you and let you know.




If everything is OK, your account is validated, and you are all set up to receive your prize. Validated users are sent to the payments department and they take care of the rest.

Be aware that prizes are sent out every Wednesday and Thursday.
