We launched the Duels feature some time ago, and since it was such a hit with our players, we continued to improve it by adding more diverse options. We started small, with 1vs1 duels, allowing players to duel against others in a classic player-vs-player environment. We raised the bar to the Race level, bringing more and more excitement with every new duel format added. We’ve talked about our Duels in other articles, telling you more about how Social Tournaments duels work and the special 2vs2 Friends Duels. Now we decided to take a closer look at the most recent type of duels: the Race Duels.
Race Duels on Pragmatic Play Slots
Social Tournaments Duels are special tournament environments designed as battle arenas to enhance the player’s experience even more. The core of any duel is a Pragmatic Play slot on which players are challenged to spin against each other for coins or money prizes.
Race duels take it even further as they count the points collected in other duels or tournaments played in a determined period. We currently have two such options available on Social Tournaments: the Weekly and Daily races.
Weekly Race Duel at Social Tournaments
As the name hints, this duel runs for 7 days, from Monday to Sunday. If you want to enter the race, you’ll need to play 5 duels per day for 7 days. These duels take 1vs1 format, with every win awarding 1 point and every loss adding 0 points to your score. The buy-in for the Weekly Duel is 500 coins, with a rake of 25 coins. The prize pool is 950 coins and can be won by one of the two duelists. Each duel has a 30-minute duration and is played on a randomly chosen Pragmatic Play slot.
Daily Race Duel at Social Tournaments
This duel requires players to play at least 10 tournaments in the past 7 days. Basically, you can choose any of our slot tournaments available in the tournament schedule, regardless if they’re free to join or require a ticket.
Once you’ve played the 10 needed tournaments, you can join the Daily Race Duel for free. You get two attempts to try and get a higher position on the leaderboard, with the prize pool being €100.
The Race duels add a different thrill to the whole slot tournament experience, having players engage in other duels or tournaments in order to secure a place in the race.
